19-05-2008. Fixed bug in the live search on the blog. If you use a browser other than Internet Explorer then try it out by typing something into the Islamic-Dictionary search box and waiting a second.
20-04-2008. The Islamic-Dictionary Blog is now up and running. Please get involved and tell me about things that I should put on there. Thanks.
19-12-2007. The Islam articles are now done and up. Click the 'Islam?' tab on the top right. Please report any typos and comments are welcome on how to improve it too!
10-12-2007. The contact and glossary pages are working now and audio for some of the words is up too. To hear how words like Allah are pronounced click the 
graphic when you see it. Sorry for taking so long to update the site. More coming later inshallah!

What is this?
This website allows you to find the meaning of words written using Latin characters but are Islamic in origin. If you search for a word like 'Salam', it will give you the meaning of the word, how it is written in its original language (usually Arabic), grammar information, and the pronunciation (click the listen icon). The database is updated regularly so if you search for a word and you can't find it then we will try to add it. Check out the Blog.
