Word Meaning
Grammar: word;The direction that Muslims pray - facing towards the Kaaba.
The Qiblah used to be Jerusalem (al-Quds) but was later changed to Prophet Muhammed's (SAW) birth place because Muhammed wished that from Allah and it was granted.
Compasses with directions in little booklets are used to determine the direction of the Qiblah usually, but there also exists many electronic gadgets that are now being produced that do the work of the compass more accuratly and with less effort.
