Taraweeh
Grammar: word;This is a prayer that is done by Ahlul Sunnah (Sunni Muslims) during the month of Ramadhan and it is done after the isha prayers and before fajr prayers. It is a voluntary deed of worship. The word taraweeh was not a word that came from the time of Prophet Muhammed (SAW). It was originally identified as Salat al Tahajud.Muslims have differences between themselves concerning how many ruku's (bows) are in the prayer, and among some of the Muslims there is disagreement concerning it being considered bida (innovation) to do it in congretion.
